Rotterdam, Tilburg, Brussels, Berlin, Malmö

This weekend, the new edition of the Playlist exhibition starts in Brussels. I feel almost over-represented as I've contributed to exhibited works by James Dingle, Entter, Raquel Meyers, Mats den Andre, Erik Nilsson, Boogerlab and also in Rosa Menkman's video with music made under the name Extraboy. Still, it seems to be a great exhibition. See it now! Also, there's three live-shows coming up, with visuals by Raquel Meyers and a hacker-jam-workshop thing at a hacker space in Malmö.

June 4 @ Dance to the Bit, Rotterdam, nl w/ Flex Busterman, Computadora, Je Deviens DJ En 3 Jours & Microtterdam DJs. I'll play an early ambient-ish set.

June 5 @ Crackbits 2.5, Tilburg, nl w/ Flex Busterman, R10T33R, Gameboys A Gogo.

June 11 @ Tresor, Berlin, de. VisualBerlin festival w/ e.g. Stu, Tonylight, Decrepticton, Notendo, Lance Blisters. I will also do a workshop/lecture here, and some undercover tom-foolery.

June 19 @ Hacknight #2, Malmö, se. Me and Glenn Again will improvise with Defmon and other secret C64-softwares, but also make a workshop entitled "Beyond bleep-blop: C64 as music monster". Sign up for it here.

Burp

The visualist Raquel Meyers, once a member of Entter, now does her own work. The Basque TV-show Burp did a feature on her that you can check here. A couple of my songs are in there, but the main reason to check it out is raquel's visual work and the basque language!

Ajvar Relish

Entter made a video with the notorious PXL2000 camera! Cassette dub rock n roll at its best.

Goto80: Bortabra (II mp3)

01 cannibal animal
02 drunken ambient
03 wallpaper jam
04 technoparty15min
05 wallpaper extraboy remix

This is 5 songs in 55 minutes, ambient/electronica style. Check it here and download here. WALLPAPER JAM is live improvisation with one c-64, 30 patterns of notes and 16 instruments that was programmed before the improvisation. It was made for the opening of coda museum's wallpaper exhibition in the netherlands, september 2007. I performed the music and Raquel Meyers did the visuals, based on wallpapers. TECHNOPARTY15MIN was made in 15 minutes. Then i pressed record and jammed with what i had done. CANNIBAL ANIMAL was made in renoise while chatting about cannibal animals. DRUNKEN AMBIENT is a good night of c64-jamming through some effects. No re-recording, pure error style. WALLPAPER EXTRABOY REMIX was actually started before WALLPAPER JAM but then turned into a remix. Yeah yeah wow wow! Cover art by Entter.
