Demoscene 2005

> Dear Santa by Up Rough Kidz (Amiga-intro, 2005). Mega cute xmas mash up mega mix deluxe ballad!

> Hello:FRIEND by Fairlight (C64-demo, #3 @ LCP2005)

> Chasing Pop by Goto80 (Amiga-music, #1 @ LCP2005)

> Cp/l by Goto80 (C64-music, #5 @ LCP2005). Well, what can I say? What kind of music am I supposed to be doing at those dizzy copy parties? Besides, I did finish that very proper Chasing Pop tune at the same time aswell.

> Mental Respirator by Phantasy (Gameboy-demo, #5 @ Breakpoint 2005)

> Datahell by Goto80 (C64-music, #1 @ Floppy 2005). Made at the Floppy party, after having made the beta version already (they’re both featured on my Digi-Dig release). Some nice text art datatrash in there too, I think it was made by Autoboy.

Demoscene 2004

> Vandalism News #42 by ONS, SCS+TRC, VNS, WD (C64-diskmag 2004)

> Alfa – cute C64 ambient, scored #3 @ Datahelg 2004.

> Exy – a somewhat messy C64-song I made when I was in Holland to play live at the legendary C64-party X, in Hengelo. I actually scored the worst ever with this song (#17), which is strange because I am still really happy with this song. Hm, maybe that says more about my mind than anything else really….

> Thisdemowasnotmadebygoto80 by Coders With Attitude (C64-demo, #11 @ X’2004)

> Postcards From Stockholm by Fairlight (C64-demo, #1 @ LCP2004)

> Goa Brudbilder by Hack n’ Trade (C64-demo, #6 @ LCP2004) – interlaced PETSCII power!

Demoscene 2003

  • Emanation Machine by Fairlight. Really nice C64-demo which scored #1 @ LCP2003. I remember making the song at the party place, somewhat stressed in the noise of the party. Ah, the sweet life!
  • Knark by Phantasy (Gameboy-demo, #1 @LCP2003)
  • Domination #18 (C64-diskmag 2003)
  • Londonk by Goto80 (C64-music, #2 @ Floppy2003). Drum n bass again! I think I fucked this up in the end, really stressed to have it finished for the compo (as usual). Underground Helsingborg daze…
  • Loaded by Fairlight (C64-demo, #2 @ Floppy2003)
  • emanation machinedominationloadedknark!

    Demoscene 2002

  • The Yard BBS-intro by Up Rough. Amiga BBS-intro in Punch Out style!
  • Summerfun by Hack n’ Trade (C64-intro, #10 @LCP2002). Eek, a really old song by me!?
  • Flämtvax by Goto80 (C64-music, #1 @ LCP2002). This is the song that I later that summer would right some lyrics to and perform live at Norbergfestival. Nowadays known as Cracker’s Delight.
  • Dots3000 by Hack n’ Trade (C64-intro, #8 @ LCP2002)
  • Demotronic by 1.000.000 BOYS (Gameboy-demo, #2 @LCP2002). So, this is the best gameboy demo ever, probably. Technically it beat everything hands down at the time, and it’s still one of the best demos ever because of the fresh design and fuckyou-attitude.
  • 1977 by Up Rough (C64-intro, #13 @ LCP2002)
  • Hits for Kids by Up Rough (Amiga-musicdisk, 2002). Mega cute super mega Goto80 music disk LP thing!
  • Doc Bacardi Meets Doc Sportdryck (C64-demo, #1 @ Mainframe 2002). Really silly goa trance song I made in an hour or so, for a really silly demo. Or is it?
  • Gopho – a C64-song that earned me 15 bottles of wine from a small family owned wine producer in northern Italy! (#1 in Sidwine Compo 2002)
  • Pretending to See the Light by Fairlight. Really great C64-demo, #1 @ Floppy2002.
  • Italo Megamix – a nice little C64-intro in italo disco style, with a megamix I made of good ol’ songs. #6 @ Floppy2002.

    Demoscene 2001

    > Xmastro by Funktion (PC-dentro, 2001)

    > Drop the Basics by Fairlight+Damage (C64-demo, #3 @ X’2001)

    > GBG by Up Rough + TBL (Amiga-demo, #1 @TRSAC Autumn 2001). (youtube)

    > Vandalism News #35 by Onslaught+WD (C64-diskmag, LCP2001)

    > Supremacy 2 (C64-music disk 2001)

    > Pappap by Goto80 (C64-compomusic, #1 @ LCP2001)

    > Pappersballong by Goto80 (Amiga-music, #3 @ Underscore 2001)

    > Royal Arte by Booze Design. A C64-demo that’s still today ranked among the top C64-demos ever. It came in #1 @ MekkaSymposium 2001. My song Blox is in there, which was released on my Papaya EP the same year.

    > Emission by Triad (C64-demo, #4 @ MekkaSymposium 2001). My song Raymond is in there.

    > Minakö by Goto80+Chavez (Amiga-music, #3 @ Mekanisaatio 2001). Chavez started making 2 patterns – with melodies and chords and stuff, but then I went disco crazy with it. So yeah, the resemblance to “Du är det finaste jag vet” isn’t my fault!

    > Ajvar Relish by Goto80 (C64-music, #1 @ Floppy2001). Mega dub!

    Demoscene 2000

  • Ameff was a drum n’ bass song I remember finishing when I was slightly drunk, hence the bizarre ending. It came in last in the C64 music competition at The Party 2000. The final proof of a old good party that just doesn’t cut it anymore, hehe.
  • Gunilla by Goto80 for Chipztream. This song was originally made by me and Greg for our band HT, and then I did this Amiga chip version of it for our new album “Smashar i Huvudet”. And then I contributed this to the Finnish group Chipztream and a music disk of theirs.
  • Circlescroller by Hack n’ Trade. This Amiga demo, coded by Booger, came in first in the Amiga-demo competition at Reunion2000.
  • Xmas. A song I made for some release by Chippendales.
  • Manhood by Triad. A C64-demo which came in #2 at Dreamhack 2000.
  • Domination #14 was a C64-diskmag I made stuff for.
  • Slugg came in #1 at LCP2000 in the C64-music competition. Drum n’ Bass yea yeah!
  • 26kg by Triad. C64-demo, #1 @ LCP2000)
  • Stig – Son of Stag by Hack n’ Trade. Amiga porn-demo released at LCP2000. Proudly walks in the footsteps of BnK’s great porno productions from the old Amiga days.
  • Stag – Son of Stig by Hack n’ Trade. We had to do a C64-version aswell, ofcourse. Also for LCP2000.
  • Domination #13, a C64-diskmag I made stuff for.
  • manhood by triad26kg by triaddominationdomination

    Demoscene 1999

  • Contact by TUM (C64-demo, #4 @ MS1999)
  • Horsing Around by Triad (C64-demo, #1 @ Dreamhack 1999)
  • ElectroFUCK by Hack n’ Trade (Amiga-demo, 1999). Yea, I was actually doing some sort of, eh, internship at Vinzi’s “job”. So we made this crazy hot Amiga demo.
  • LHCTPK99 by Hack n’ Trade (C64-intro, LHCTPK99). Made at a bizarre data get together inna Växjö – Little Hack Computer Trade People Konferens. I think that’s when me and Frantik started working on the song that later became known as Papaya Dub. :)
  • Triad’s Da Name 99 by Triad (C64-demo, #1 @ Remedy 1999)
  • contacthorsing aroundtriad's da name 99

    Demoscene 1998

    • Spice Up Your Life by Triad (C64-demo, #1 @ LCP1998). The first time I collaborated with the mega boy Hollowman and the notorious Triad. I remember good ol’ Jerry (the legendary 60+ leader of Triad) thought my music sounded like something was wrong. Excellent!
    • King Kong 3 by Goto80 (C64-music, #3 @ LCP1998). Also known as Drum n’ Bajs, I think.
    • Album of the Year by Nostalgia (C64-musidisk, 1998). One of the songs from Monkeywarning is in here.
    • Half Baked by the super oldie group Warriors of Wasteland (C64-demo, #3 @ X’1998)
    • Newspress #18 (C64-diskmag, 1998). I was really satisfied with this track back in the days. It’s still kind of special to me. It’s sort of dark, but not super experimental or anything. Melodic. Blabla.
    • 101 – A Tribute to Depeche Mode by Nostalgia (C64-musicdisk, 1998). Boys say go, got damnit!
    • Star Truk by Maniacs of NES (C64-musicdisk, 1998). Me and Mindflow’s little project, that is probably lost forever. Contained my covers of NES-music, and most of it can be found in the Lofi Mono Festival cassette. Hm, which probably can’t be found but then you could get Commodore Grooves and find them there instead. Phew!

    Demoscene Action 1996-1997

    • Megademo 4 by Hack n’ Trade is a C64-demo that got lost by the organizers at The Party 97. It’s probably one of the best C64-demos ever. I have some pretty weird music in it.
    • HT-Stag by Hack n’ Trade is an Amiga-demo that got disqualified at The Gathering 1997, probably because porn was sort of illegal in Norway back then. We didn’t get along with the security people there at all. For those who don’t know, this is a tribute to the old STAG demos made by the B’n’K back in the days. I didn’t do the music here, I justed helped out with my ROMBO digitizing skillz.
    • Megademo 3 by Hack n’ Trade. C64-demo for The Gathering 1997, which was also lost by the organizers I think. As usual, the best C64-demo ever.
    • Diods by Hack n’ Trade was a small Amiga-intro for Balsam 1997 which I did a small chiptune for.
    • Feddamys was the first C64-song I released (I think). I made it in DMC. Since I didn’t go to The Party 96, Gosh had to release it in his name. It ended up at #5 in the music compo.
    • Schmoovy-schmoov by “Vinzi”. Same thing here, but the organizers lost it. (!?)megademo 4megademo 3
