Finally, some good ol’ chiptunes and chipbreak on compact disc! Yes, Compoid is in many ways the Goto80 you knew 20 years ago. Short, catchy, beepy and dense. Only better, of course!

You should call +46 60 60 70 593 to connect with Telephone Radio Hotline. Listen to the songs from the album, talk to others calling in, or listen to live shows (every now and then). If you lead a busy business life, there is an option to listen to all the songs at the same time, for maximum efficiency. More info and schedule available here.

Yeah, so Compoid consists of 12 tracks that have previously appeared on compilations and in competitions, and in other scene productions. Mostly in 2025/2026. The packaging is DIY, made with used CD cases (so yes, imperfections are a feature, not a bug).

Huge thanks to Raccoon & Tele-Noor for helping out with the Telephone Radio Hotline. Thanks to Breakin for vocals on Bombero, to Tempest for the E8x simulation on Yest-26, and to LA Holm Finest for the gourmet samples on Geigeroid and Jävla Vildäng Bussbuss. Cheers to the people who’ve released these songs before: Suck Puck in Ukraine (slava!), the new international Amiga power group Mania, the legendary demogroup TEK, the even more legendary Razor 1911, and SYDNEY CITY CHIPTUNE MINISTRIES. And of course, thanks to Data Airlines for releasing this album!

Also shout-outs to the software heroes that make free cool stuff that I use, like the Protracker clone and Zoopertracker for music, LVLLVL and Moebius for graphics, and Pikimov for video.
